Electric Shock Killed "Sheet Iron Thief" in Isperih

A 31-year-old Bulgarian man was found dead -- most probably killed by an electric shock -- near an electricity transmission post in the town of Isperih on Monday. The victim was holding a special instrument for cutting sheet iron, which lead policemen to the conclusion that the man was planning to steal some metal from the post. Such thefts -- especially wires stealing -- have been bothering Bulgarian policemen for years and even led to a discussion how high should electricity poles be to avoid criminal actions of this kind.
