At least three people were reportedly killed in an explosion in the Japanese city of Nagoya where a disgruntled office worker had taken eight people hostage, fire officials said Tuesday. The man, said to be armed with a knife and a bow and arrow, had taken the hostages at an office building. He then doused the area with a flammable liquid and then threatening to set it on fire, policemen said. Seven of the eight hostages were reported to have been released before the fire broke out. The man reportedly wanted pay back after losing his job and was said to have several grievances against the company.
