`The Central Electoral Commission /CEC/ admitted to the presidential elections and registered Reneta Indzhova and Krastyo Ilov, supported by the Democratic Alliance,` CEC spokesman Biser Troyanov said. On the last day of the term for submitting documents the pair was not registered due to incomplete information about the candidates. On October 8,the two presented the necessary certificates to the CEC. Apart from the Democratic Alliance`s presidential couple, the commission was expected to approve two more pairs of presidential and vice-presidential candidates: Mitko Dimitrov and Dimitar Kyosev, nominated by the Union for Preserving the Treasures of Bulgaria, and Kiril Borissov and Petar Dimitrov, nominated by the Liberal Party. The registered candidate couples for president and vice president are: Petar Stoyanov - Neli Kutskova /independent/; Georgi Parvanov - Angel Marin /Coalition for Bulgaria /; George Ganchev - Atanas Zhelezchev; Petur Beron - Stoyan Andreev - Union Bulgaria; Reneta Indzhova - Krastyo Ilov - Democratic Alliance .
