Some of Bulgaria's most eminent sports journalists faced popular television stars in an amateur football match at Bulgaria's National Sports Academy Sunday. The game was a warm-up for people who came to watch the finals of amateur Fan Cup organized by the Kamenitza beer brewery.

Famous television hosts Uti Bachvarov and Vladi Vargala joined one of the teams, which played against the squad of sports journalist Krum Savov and Tomislav Rusev.

However, the Pikadili team from Bulgaria' s main coastal city of Varna won the Fan Cup and received sport outfits similar to those that players at the national football team wear, as a prize.

Some 5,000 amateur players took part in the championship, but only eight teams made it to the final matches.
