NATO TRAINING TO START IN SOFIA

Defense Minister Nikolai Svinarov will open the 58th autumn meeting of the NATO Training Group Working Group on Individual Training and Education Developmens (NTG WG IT & ED) in Sofia on October 8. This is the first time a non-NATO country will host the Group`s meeting.The four-day working meeting will be attended by representatives of NATO Allies and Partners: Austria, Azerbaijan, Canada, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, Macedonia, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine and the US. They will discuss the training of non-commissioned officers, distance learning, the acquisition of leadership skills, and the study of the cultural values of the NATO Allies and Partners.
