By filing his resignation Finance Minister Velchev sought to put Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg under pressure so that he may restore certain positions in the government and the ruling majority that he seemed to have lost, said former Finance Minister Muravey Radev from the right-wing opposition Union of Democratic Forces.
In the opinion of Radev fears that the prime minister might let him go have driven Milen Velchev in his decision to withdraw his resignation on Tuesday.
Radev forecasts that Milen Velchev will find many new enemies after his Tuesday's move.
