Danube Hits Record-low Level for August

Danube's level in the Bulgarian sector of the river continues dropping. Near the Bulgarian city of Rousse the level of the big river path reached -33cm, which an absolute minimum for the middle of August. The lowest level of the river registered on August 19 has been -6cm. Hydrologists predict that the level of the big river near Russe could reach -41cm over the next two days. One Bulgarian tugboat has subsided due to the low level of Danube.
