BUSINESSES DEMAND MORE SHORT TERM LOANS

The banks have extended 56,3% more loans in the week between September 14 and 21 compared to the previous week, according to central bank figures. BGN 60,3 M were extended. The amount is larger because of a bigger number of short-term loans. The long-term loans dropped with 20% compared to the previous week. More household loans were received. The credits drawn by businesses fell to 52% of the long-term amount, compared to 58,5% the week before.
