Bulgaria's CSKA Might Play against Turkish Soccer Heavyweight

In case Bulgarian soccer team CSKA beats Armenia's Punic, it would face Turkish heavyweight Galatasaray in the third preliminary round of the Champions League.

This is what the lot drawn on Friday in the UEFA headquarters in Swiss city Nyon showed.

The coach of the Bulgarian squad -- Stoycho Mladenov -- declined to comment the option of facing Galatasaray. He pointed out he would currently concentrate on oncoming battle with Punic. "The Armenian team is a very serious opponent and we should not underestimate it," Mladenov said.

He added that his team has followed with great interest the uplift in Turkish soccer. "It has advanced so much over the last years that it caught up with the European soccer," Mladenov, a possible Galatasaray challenger, underlined.
