Hotel Chain Minotel Expands into Bulgaria

Three Bulgarian hotels were made part of the European hotel chain Minotel, Bulgarian Dnevnik daily reported.

The chain acquired the Rodopi hotel in Bulgaria's second biggest city Plovdiv and the Central and Central-Forum hotels in the capital Sofia.

Minotel is said to plan further expansion into other Bulgaria cities. It currently scouts hotels in the two biggest coastal hubs Varna and Burgas as well as in Pleven, 160km to the north of Sofia.

Minotel is the biggest chain of small business hotels in Europe. Its headquarters is based in Switzerland.
