The Asian Field exhibition is expected to open in Beijing July 28 and will display 160,000 clay figures. The preparations are already underway in the China National Museum. The most prominent artist to display his work is Britain's Antony Gormley. A total of 192,000 clay figures were made under Gormley's guidance by over 300 people in China's southern Guangzhou province in January this year.
