Bulgarian police busted Monday illegal channel for import of Chinese goods to Bulgaria, officials reported. The channel was controlled by Bulgarian controversial businessman Konstantin Dimitrov "Samokovetsa" who survived a bomb attack in June.

The goods were transported to Bulgaria through neighboring Greece. Nikolay Metodiev a.k.a. Pileto (the Chicken), another notorious Bulgarian businessman, assisted Dimitrov in running the illegal imports.

Dimitrov is known as one of Bulgaria's biggest excisable goods speculators, also believed to be strongly involved with drug smuggling. He survived a bomb attack June 1st after some 15 kilos of explosive blew up on a road about 20 km of Bulgaria's capital Sofia when Dimitrov's armored Mercedes jeep passed over the detonator-cable.

In a resent statement Dimitrov said he made his fortune on trading with potatoes.
