IMF Experts Praise Bulgaria's Budget Implementation

Experts from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) praised Bulgaria's budget implementation in the funds last report on Bulgaria.

Report also reads that Bulgaria's macroeconomic indexes are within the stand-by agreement signed with IMF.

The IMF experts also recommended that Bulgaria end the two major privatization deals over the country's Telecom (BTC) and Bulgartabac.

Another recommendation in the report said that subsidies should be allotted to Bulgaria's target populations. They also insist on passing Bulgaria's Energetics Law so that there would be preconditions for privatization of the country's power distribution utilities.
