Blast Rocks Building at Corsica Airport

A strong explosion rocked a warehouse at the airport outside the town of Bastia on the French mediterranean island of Corsica, causing no injuries, police said. The Sunday night explosion hit a building storing material to maintain roads, and a damage estimate was not immediately available. The blast follows two explosions early on Sunday against tax and customs offices in the French riveria town of Nice that injured 16 people and which police believe may have a connection with Corsica.
