Bulgaria's LB Bulgaricum and the South Korean company Vital Foods Co. LTD signed a 20-year contract granting a license for production of original Bulgarian yoghurt.
The license agreement includes conceding of the special producing technologies and sale's rights of original Bulgarian yoghurt and diary products to the South Korean company.
The agreement is the first strategic contract for the Bulgarian company. It also includes joint marketing and advertising.
Bulgarian experts and specialists would supervise the first lots of Bulgarian yoghurt produced in South Korea, an official of the Bulgarian company explained.
Over 30 years the technologies of LB Bulgaricum are used in Japan, Germany, Finland, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Cyprus, and France for produce of original Bulgarian yoghurt.
The Japan company Meiji Dairies Co. has overtaken 30 percent of the Japanese market with the diary products produced with Bulgarian technologies. Statistics show that over 24 M Japanese consume original Bulgarian yoghurt each day.
