New Parliamentary Leaders in Bulgaria to Reunite the Ruling Majority

Politics | July 9, 2003, Wednesday // 00:00

We will work hard for improving communication inside the parliamentary group, Borislav Tsekov, one of the three new deputy floor leaders of the parliamentary group of the ruling Simeon II National Movement in Bulgaria, said Wednesday.

New leaders of Bulgaria's incumbent floor group were elected Wednesday and former chief Plamen Panayotov was selected for a ministerial post.

The new leadership will also "stretch a hand" to MPs who have left the party and invite them to join back, Tsekov said. Bulgaria's successful governing is the common goal that will reunite us, he underlined.

New leaders will aim to set clear rules for making decisions. We will also urge all MP's to attend key parliamentary discussions, Tsekov said.
