"Poor Politicians-Electorate Communication" in Bulgaria

Communication between Bulgarian people and politicians is difficult and inefficient, Bulgarian sociologist Mira Yanova said Monday.

Eighty percent of the country's residents disapprove politician's actions or are unwilling to understand the reasons behind them, Yanova explained. People who are most heavily struck by poverty do not usually support any reforms or political actions.

Fall in Bulgarian politicians' approval rates indicates growing discontent among people, Yanova alarmed.
