The Cabinet reshuffle may affect ministers from the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, Ahmed Dogan, leader of the junior coalition partner, the predominantly ethnic Turkish Movement for Rights and Freedoms, said Tuesday.

In his opinion the current chair of the parliamentary group of Simeon II National Movement Plamen Panayotov is a real "treasure" on Bulgaria's political scene.

In the opinion of Ahmed Dogan the planned changes are not coming too late, since now is the time to assess the two-year governance of the incumbents.

The leader of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms expects the scheme for Cabinet reshuffle to be clear in a week or two.

Bulgaria's Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg is expected to announce today nominations for new leaders of Simeon II National Movement parliamentary group.

New leadership is expected to be elected at a meeting of the parliamentary group to replace floor leader Plamen Panayotov and his deputies - Vesselin Bliznakov (chair of the parliamentary committee on energy), Vladimir Donchev (chair of the parliamentary committee on internal security and public order), Snezhana Grozdilova, Borislav Ralchev, Konstantin Penchev, Stanimir Ilchev (chair of the parliamentary committee on foreign policy, security and defense).
