The Central Electoral Commission registered the Committee that supports Petur Stoyanov`s and Nelly Kutskova`s candidatures for President and Vice President respectively. The Committee was registered with date September 26. Then, the Central Electoral Commission did not accept the documents of the Initiative Committee because of non-compliance with decision N 7 of the Central Electoral Commission from September 25. The signatures of the 173 members of the Initiative Committee were handed in the Commission again. Thus, the legal problem was solved. The signatures of the committee members are to be checked from the register now. Afterwards, the candidatures of Stoyanov and Kutskova will be registered. Before the registration on October 1, the current Bulgarian President Petur Stoyanov, who is to run for second presidential mandate, said that he believes that the Electoral Commission will accept the documents of the Initiative Committee that supports his and Kutskova`s nomination. Stoyanov also said that he respects the candidature of the Socialist leader Purvanov for President. He appealed for calm and positive presidential campaign.
