Bulgaria marked the day of honored Christian St Petar June 29 with first edition of Craftsman's Fair in capital Sofia. The event was initiated by the Bulgarian Crafts Chamber and backed by the municipality in Sofia.

In Bulgaria St Petar is widely honored as patron of craftsmen.

Masters at ceramics, iconography, glass-painting, weaving, knitting and glass-fabrics from all over the country gathered in front of the National Palace of Culture NDK in Sofia for live demonstrations of their craftsman skills. Children from the museum school of Bulgaria's National Museum of History joined the event.

The fair also included a fashion show by Bulgaria's famous hair-stylist Kapanov and milliner Irina Sardareva. Stylists from the Bulgarian cities of Plovdiv and Varna also presented self-designed summer hair-does.
