A tourism project, which includes publishing a cooking book dedicated to the traditional cuisine of each country from the Balkan region, will be implemented by Bulgaria and all other countries of the Balkans to the end of 2003.

The project, along with other two similar initiatives, aims to introduce the Balkan region as a tourist destination to the world and increase the tourists' interest in the region.

All countries from Southeastern Europe will participate in these three projects.

The working up of a joint product for rural tourism is the goal of the second project. Villages from the entire Balkan region will be included into the joint product for rural tourism that will be presented to the rest of the world.

The organizing of a seminar dedicated to the problems of the culture tourism of the Balkan region is the third tourism project to be carried out to the end of 2003.

The joint product of the Balkan region's culture tourism as well as the launching of a new bus line from Bulgaria to Greece and Romania will be discussed at the seminar.
