Prosoft has signed a contract with Jordan's Jordan Modern Technologies under which the Bulgarian company will assemble computers to be exported later on to Iraq.
Transport company SO "MAT" has also made considerable progress in its negotiations with the local administration in Iraq and British companies over sending 100 Bulgarian TIR vehicles to Iraq. The vehicles will transport a variety of goods across the country.
Talking at a joint press conference with Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg, Deputy Economy Minister Milen Keremedchiev said the efforts of the Bulgarian government for assisting the Bulgarian business are bearing fruits.
In his view there are very good prospects for joint participation of Bulgarian and Jordanian companies in the rebuilding of post-war Iraq.
Jordan is expected to continue to play a very important role as a corridor of services and products.
