The famous American professor of Bulgarian origin Carl Djerassi that invented the anti-baby pills will participate Wednesday in a prominent Bulgarian talk show.
Djerassi arrived June 24 in Bulgaria. Following his arrival he left directly for Bulgaria's second city Plovdiv.
Carl Djerassi also works on a trilogy of plays, devoted to the `science in theatre`. The professor is an author of 7 books and more than 120 articles in the sphere of chemistry. He has also published many poems, essays and short stories.
In the sphere of medical chemistry his name is connected with the first inventions of the contraceptives. He has written five novels. In the frameworks of the "Djerassi" program the professor provides homes and studios for nearly 700 people of art in Woodside, California.
Carl Djerassi is ranked among the thirty most prominent personalities of the last millennium.
