Bulgaria's Volleyball Team Leads World League Group C

Bulgaria's national volleyball side triumphed over Serbia and Montenegro 3-1 games (23:25, 25:20, 25:21, 25:22) in a World League Group C match Friday.

Over 5,000 volleyball fans gathered in Kongresna Hall at the Palace of Culture and Sports in the coastal town of Varna to applaud the fantastic performance of the Bulgarian team.

The sixth victory of the Bulgarians takes them to the top group.

Bulgaria's volleyball player Vladimir Nikolov, who has garnered so far 155 points, ranks second among the best scorers in the World's volleyball league. Another Bulgarian Plamen Konstantinov is fifth with 147 points and Evgeni Ivanov is ninth with 127.

Vladimir Nikolov is also ranked second in the best service ranking. Evgeni Ivanov takes the fourth place in this ranking but he is first in the block ranking.
