Bulgaria's President Georgy Parvanov, Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg and Foreign Minister Solomon Passy will arrive in Greece Friday to join the summit of European Union (EU) leaders in the town of Thessaloniki, Sofia spokesman said.
EU-leaders will also meet June 20th with top officials from Turkey and Romania.
Bulgarian delegates, also joined by the country's EU Chief Negotiator Meglana Kuneva, will take part in talks about illegal emigration, border guarding and major international problems like terrorism and traffic of weapons for mass destruction.
Bulgaria's main goal at the grand get-together is 2004 to be set as a final date of the country's pre-accession negotiations, Passy pointed before the summit.
The second task for Bulgarian diplomacy is to make the EU separate Bulgaria's financial negotiation chapter from its overall budget scheme which will be ready "too late for Bulgaria" according to Passy.
As third, Bulgaria aims to get a clear schedule for completion of the pre-accession talks.
