Scotland Yard Chief Sir John Stevens signed a twinning agreement together with the Bulgarian Interior Minister in Sofia on Monday.

The British law-enforcers will help Bulgaria's interior administration and the police services fight corruption under EUR 2 M project PHARE project.

The Scotland Yard-backed plan aims to create a system counteracting bribery in Bulgaria law-enforcement structures.
