The outstanding participants in Bulgaria's Junior Achievement business training program received their awards at a special ceremony Friday. The event was attended by Sasha Bezuhanova, chairman of the Managing Council of Junior Achievement Bulgaria, and Bulgaria's Finance Minister Milen Velchev.
Thirty-three pupils groups from twelve Bulgarian cities participated in Best pupils Company, Best Advertising Campaign and Best Business Plan Contests. A jury of professionals measured the public speaking skills of ten Bulgarian schools' pupils who study economics and business as part of the Junior Achievement programs.
Winners of the contests will participate in European conferences and receive many other prizes including free training at Junior Achievement-Young Enterprise Europe.
The Bulgarian office of international organization Junior Achievement opened in 1997. Pupils from some ninety-five Bulgarian schools joined the Junior Achievement training programs already.
