Sofia's Deputy Finance Minister Gati Al Jebouri handed his resignation to Bulgaria's PM Simeon Saxe- Coburg Friday. The Prime Minister agreed to accept it, Al Jebouri said after the meeting.

I need to spend more time with my family and work independently for some time, Al Jebouri explained his unexpected move. I had no long-term political ambitions, but I believe our cabinet achieved a lot during the last two ears, Al Jabouri added.

I respect Al Jebouri's decision and appreciate his work as my assistant, Bulgaria's Finance Minister Milen Velchev told the Bulgarian National Radio.

I am surprised by Al Jebouri's decision but I don't expect it to affect Bulgaria's economy policy, Sofia's Economy Minister Nikolay Vassilev said Saturday.
