Bulgaria's School-Leavers Sit for 46-Question Literature Test

Politics | May 30, 2003, Friday // 00:00

Bulgaria's school-leavers who chose to sit for a Bulgarian language and literature test have to answer forty-six questions on Friday. The exam is optional, as the controversial reform of Bulgarian education has not yet managed to yield solid rules.

Besides filling of the questionnaire, the examinees have to write an essay. The test also requires them to reflect on Bulgarian literature classics.

The language test's marks will help form the total score of high school education, which is important for collage applicants.
