Bulgaria's Ruling Party Starts Local Elections Campaign

The campaign of Bulgaria's ruling party Simeon II National Movement for the upcoming local elections starts Friday. The criteria according to which the party will nominate mayor candidates and municipal council members have been already hammered out.

This is what Konstantin Penchev, MP from the ruling party, told local media. He pointed out that all nominations would be made till July 15.

The party gathers Friday in Sofia to discuss its strategy for the elections.
