Bulgarian officials will hold talks today with representatives of the Turkish Electricity Trade and Contracting Inc. TETAS, their first meeting since Turkey suspended power supply from Bulgaria.

Vassil Atanassov, Executive Director of the National Electricity Transmission Company, will meet representatives of TETAS in the framework of his working visit to Turkey and prior to the start of negotiations on the agreement for exchange of electricity for involving Turkish companies in Bulgaria's infrastructure projects.

A delegation, led by Regional Development Minister Tserovski and Energy Minister Kovachev, will visit Ankara May 29 for the negotiations.

On April 21 Turkish Electricity Trade and Contracting Inc. TETAS announced it stops the power import from Bulgaria, claiming that the Bulgarian side has failed to meet its commitments regarding the implementation of two infrastructure projects.
