Sofia has elected its new mayor. The entrepreneur Vasil Terziev, nominated by the coalition PP-DB and "Save Sofia," emerged victorious in today's runoff election. Terziev secured a significant lead over Vanya Grigorova, who had the support of the BSP and Levitsa.
