BULGARIAN BOY AWARDED IN JAPAN

The 4-year-old Lyuben Nedkov from Pleven won a gold medal at the World Biennial in Japan. His drawing `Friends` was selected by the jury among 42,400 works of young artists from 114 countries. Lyuben is a pupil of the artist Maya Ananieva from Pleven. The gold medal, made by a renowned Japanese sculptor, was delivered to Pleven with a special complimentary letter, signed by Hisashi Kataya, CEO of the competition which took place in Kanagala. The 4-year-old has applied mixed technics in his drawing `Friends`-aquarelle, felt-tip pen and pastels.
