Tanya Stoyanova, Member of Parliament from National Movement Simeon II resigned late Friday from the parliament. It is a personal decision and has nothing to do with my colleagues, she explained. Sources from the group said Mrs. Stoyanova did not agree with the methods of managing the parliamentary group of the movement. National Movement Simeon II had 120 seats out of 240 in the Bulgarian parliament after it won the elections June 17, 2001. The resignation clearly shows that the ruling party will not have majority in the parliament and will be more dependable by its coalition party for the Turkish minority dominated Movement for rights and freedoms.
