IP telephony via wireless Internet connection was presented on the second day of Cisco Systems first network solutions conference "Business and Innovations", which opened April 10 in Kempinski-Zografski hotel in Sofia.
The sessions of the conference's second day focus on the benefits of IP telephony for business, training through Cisco Networking Academy Program, Cisco Advanced Support Offering, corporate solutions for optical transmission and data protection, optical technologies, content delivery and e-training.
Cisco leading managers and technical experts arrived in Bulgaria especially for the event, where they will introduce the vision of the company for using of network technologies by presentations and demonstrations.
The program of the seminar consisted of three main sections - for managers, technical experts from large and medium sized companies and representatives of telecom operators and Internet providers.
During the exhibition in the framework of the conference some of Cisco Partners in Bulgaria - Lirex BG, Cnsys, IBM, Paraflow, HP, Solytron and Orbitel, demonstrated working technological solutions, products and services.
IBM Bulgaria received certificate of Cisco Systems golden partner.
The status of Cisco Systems golden partner is a serious achievement for IBM Bulgaria and a strategic addition for development of joint solutions between the two countries, Georgi Ranguelov, IBM Bulgaria General Director said.
He underlined that this puts the company in a unique position on the Bulgarian market.
