Large-scale operation of the General Directorate of the Bulgarian Police is being conducted on 120 cases of misuse of EU funds.
Searches are carried out at various addresses. Former Prime Minister Boyko Borissov, former Finance Minister Vladislav Goranov, former head of the budget committee Menda Stoyanova and former head of the government's information service Sevdalina Arnaudova have been detained, Interior Ministry sources confirmed to BNT. Later, the ministry confirmed the information in an official statement to the media.
