Sofia Charity Concerts Focus on World Day of Tuberculosis

A charity concert was held at the Central Military Club April 6 in aid of children infected with tuberculosis.
Stars from the children show "Like the Lions" performed on the stage, along with folk ensemble Chinari, clowns and ballets dancers. Famous Bulgarian pop singers Stoyan Mihalev and Viktor joined the fundraising event, hosted by Nikolay Aprilov. Some 150 people came to see the children' s show, paying a ticket of BGN 4 at the entrance.
This is the sixth time that Egmont Bulgaria publishing house organizes charity concerts in aid of sick children. The concerts are part of the initiatives, marking the World Day of Tuberculosis.
The raised funds will be given to University Children's Hospital for Lung Diseases in Sofia and the specialized hospital in the town of Tryavna.
