"We continue the change" is aimed at 30% of the parliamentary vote "We continue the change" has the ambition to achieve 30% support of the voters in the upcoming parliamentary elections. This was stated in a tv interview by Kiril Petkov, who is one of the founders of the political formation.
"We are aware that although we are very ambitious and the 30 percent is real, the future government will be a coalition," the politician said.
The latest poll (by Gallup International at the end of September) gives the party 15.2% of the votes of those who are already decided to vote, which puts it in second place after GERB (21.4%).
Asked who will be the parties in the possible next coalition government, the leader of "We continue the change" stressed that they are open to the "best capacities" with the highest qualification for the specific positions.
"We have to stop with the idea of 'some of our people in one position.' We have to look at the best capacity and expertise on a specific topic. We have to stop with appointments of personal favorites," Petkov said.
Asked who the prime minister will be, he replied that this will be decided, together with "Democratic Bulgaria" and "Stand up BG. We are coming" as political partners if they manage to get 120 deputies. Petkov said that he himself would accept this responsibility, but would not make it a condition to the partners.
Asked why they are isolating "There is such a people" from the talks, Petkov replied that the door would be opened, but at a later stage because of the differences in views on the country's governance that emerged during the attempt to form a cabinet in the previous parliament. /Nova
