SWITCHBOARD IN KOZLODUY ON FIRE

An electric switchboard in a water treatment building of the Kozlodouy nuclear plant went on fire at 12.30 pm on September 19. The emergency crews of the plant immediately extinguished the fire. The building where the switchboard is located is not part of the N-plant compound. The accident did not influence the operational safety of Kozluduy. `The background radiation at the site of the N-plant remained normal,` the press center of the plant announced.
