Bulgaria: Greece Introduces Draconian Safety Measures for Unvaccinated Tourists

Restaurants, bars, cafes, nightclubs, theaters, cinemas will admit only those vaccinated in Greec, the government announced on Tuesday in an attempt to stem the new surge of the pandemic.

One of the measures expected to be returned from mid-September is the mandatory a mask in open spaces, Trud daily writes.

It is reminded that on June 23, the wearing of a mask outdoor was officially lifted by a government order. It is also envisaged that public servants who have not been vaccinated will work after submitting two negative tests per week at their own expense. There will also be restrictions for teachers in schools and universities who need to either get vaccinated or tested twice a week at their own expense. Students will only be able to attend lectures in person if they have been vaccinated or have a negative test. The difference is that the state will pay for the students' tests. Students over the age of 12 will also be tested regularly,no matter whether they are vaccinated or not. From September the unvaccinated will have to find other ways to have fun, as they will not be allowed to indoor nightclubs. It is  considered to allow only vaccinated people in retail stores - something that will not only increase social tension, but can also inflict financial losses to  businesses.
