Government spokesman Dimitur Tsonev confirmed Wednesday that Bulgaria did not face military threat because of the war in Iraq. He specified that the situation in Sarafovo neighborhood of Black Sea city Burgas where US aircraft and troops are stationed was calm.

The security measures in all "risky" embassies are tightened and the situation there is also calm, Tsonev added.

No refugees influx in Bulgaria was registered since the start of the war.
