Schuessel Praises Friendship with Bulgaria at Grand Concert in Sofia Austria's Chancellor Shuessel (left) talks with Bulgarian Prime Minister Saxe-Coburg at a concert of the Vienna Opera in Sofia. He spent only a couple of hours in the Bulgarian capital.

Austria's Chancellor Shuessel praised his country's friendship with Bulgaria at a concert of the Vienna Opera stars, invited by Bulgaria's biggest GSM operator MobilTel in Sofia. The high-profile Austrian politician got on the scene accompanied by Prime Minister Saxe-Coburg who thanked him for the nice words in German.

Later, the Austrian chancellor donated a grand piano, worth EUR 20,000 according to experts, to the Sofia Music School.

He also presented three pupils from the school with pianos.

Wolfgang Schuessel arrived in Sofia specially for the concert and spent only a couple of hours here.

He could see only the second part of the concert because before that he had a tete-a-tete meeting with Bulgarian President Parvanov.
