The new cases of coronavirus in our country show a slight increase as an absolute number, but decrease as a percentage. There are 1,708 newly registered cases for the last 24 hours (27 more than the 1681 infected on Thursday), according to the data in the Unified Information Portal.
The total number of tests performed was 14,888 tests (PCR and antigenic).
The total confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria reached 396,302.
Most infected were again found in Sofia-city - 389. Followed by Plovdiv with 183 and Varna with 133. There is no area without new cases. The least of them are in Vidin - 16, Yambol - 17, and Smolyan - 19.
The number of active cases also continues to decrease and is now 56,599 (a decrease of 874 compared to the previous report).
There is a decline of patients in hospitals, with the number of people there already at 8,073, which is 236 less than yesterday. The number of patients accommodated in the intensive care units is 751, which is 30 less on a daily basis.
The number of registered as "cured" in the last day is 2,477, so their total number is now 323,877.
105 patients died in the last 24 hours, with two more deaths than in the previous day. Thus, officially the victims of COVID-19 in our country are already 15,826.
38,578 people are under quarantine.
The doses of vaccines administered in our country reached a total of 716,940 or about 8.06% of the population has at least one jab. The persons with completed second immunization are already 160,221 or about 2.31% of the population, according to the data in the Unified Information Portal.
For the last 24 hours, 18,423 vaccines against COVID-19 were administered.
