Bulgaria: Iceland Introduces 5-Day Quarantine in Hotel for Arrivals from Bulgaria

From April 1, Iceland introduces mandatory five-day quarantine in a hotel upon entry into the country for Bulgarian citizens including, the foreign ministry said.

The measure applies to arrivals from 'dark red' or 'grey' zones, including Bulgaria.

In addition to the new measure, children who have so far been exempt from both testing and quarantine – as of Thursday will be subject to the same measures as adults when entering Iceland, the Bulgarian foreign ministry added.

They also remind about the other requirements to Bulgarian citizens entering Iceland - a registration form completed before travel, as well as the negative result of a PCR test carried out up to 72 hours before departure, a re-test immediately upon arrival in the country and a third test at the end of the quarantine.
