From this morning, wearing masks is mandatory everywhere in Paris. The measure is introduced after an increase in coronavirus infections. In addition to pedestrians, masks must be worn by cyclists and motorcyclists.

France reports 6,111 new cases per day. This is the highest number of infected per day since the end of quarantine in May.
