Bulgaria: COVID-19 in Bulgaria: 162 Newly Registered Cases, 14 Deaths

162 new COVID-19 infected people were registered in the country during the last 24 hours after 3844 PCR tests were performed, according to the statistics of the Unified Information Portal.

In the last 24 hours, 14 people have died, which means that the victims of the pandemic in our country so far are 586.

The Governement extended the state of emergency until the end of September

149 people were cured, 741 infected people were treated in hospitals, 60 of them in intensive care units.

The active cases to date are 4415. Most of the newly infected are registered in Sofia - 28, Blagoevgrad - 22, Plovdiv - 13 and Pazardzhik - 12.
