One-Fifth of Bulgarians Believe COVID-19 Threat was Exaggerated

There are 176 new cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria. They were found in 5,877 PCR tests performed yesterday. This is shown by the data of the Unified Information Portal.
The total number of infected in the country reached 14,069. The active cases are 4,684. 824 people are treated in hospital. 63 of them are in intensive care units.
424 people were cured in the last 24 hours. A total of 8,901 people have already battled the virus. Two more people died as a result of COVID-19 infection. A 63-year-old man with heart and chronic neurological disease and a 64-year-old woman with pneumonia died. The total number of victims was 484.
The highest number of new cases is again in Blagoevgrad - 35. In Sofia the newly diagnosed are 30, and in Plovdiv - 24.
The distribution by districts at the current address of the persons is as follows: Blagoevgrad - 35; Burgas - 4; Varna - 14; Veliko Tarnovo - 1; Vratsa - 1; Dobrich - 10; Kardzhali - 2; Kyustendil - 2; Lovech - 4; Pazardzhik - 8; Pernik - 1; Pleven - 7; Plovdiv - 24; Razgrad - 1; Ruse - 1; Silistra - 3; Smolyan - 3; Sofia region - 5; Sofia city - 30; Stara Zagora - 5; Targovishte - 2; Shumen - 10; Yambol - 3.
According to the National Information System in our country, the new coronavirus has been found in 780 medical staff. 11 new cases have been registered in the past 24 hours, 4 of which have been identified by doctors, 3 - by nurses, 2 - by nurses, 1 - by a paramedic and 1 - by other medical staff.
