Mayor Sofianski and the Chief Sofia Architect Stoyan Yanev opened an underground parking lot with an official ceremony in the Sofia center. It will be situated between boulevards `Todor Alexandrov` and `Maria Luiza` and `Washington` street. The parking lot has 142 car spaces. Currently, it has only one entrance on the side of `Washington` street. A second entrance is planned to be constructed, facing Bulbank. The hourly fee for the parking lot will be BGN 2. The subscription fee is higher than normal – BGN 400 per month since the place is not envisaged for car parking during the night. It is going to be used primarily by business people who need to park their cars in the center for a short period of time.
