Unilever's decision to launch a new business on the Bulgarian market has been dictated by our conviction that Bulgaria offers good conditions for success, Martina Kastler, President of Unilever South Central Europe company, said after a meeting with Bulgaria's Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg March 13.

Martina Kastler presented to the prime minister Unilever activities, its latest project in Bulgaria, the acquisition of margarine production at Kaliakra and Unilever strategy called "Road to Success".

Unilever, an international manufacturer of leading brands in foods, acquired the production of margarine at Kaliakra company in the town of Dobrich, about 500 kilometres northeast of Sofia, in the middle of March.
