Many people have a habit of eating large amounts of food at dinner, and shortly before bedtime they finish off the evening with something else - popcorn in front of the TV, sweets, or a few more bites of the delicious dinner.

3. Hummus

4. Yogurt

Scientists have proven that yogurt is perfect for dinner. It contains a large amount of protein, low fat and almost no sugar. Add fruit to it to make it even more delicious.

5. Crackers

When we talk about crackers, we mean whole grains with complex carbohydrates and low calorie content. Adding some hummus, cottage cheese or a piece of cheese can make them even more appetizing.

6. Popcorn

It may sound weird, but popcorn is on the list of healthy evening snacks. We're not talking about the popcorns that are made in the microwave, but those that are air popped. They are low in calories and help maintain your waist. Add garlic, chili or other spices to it and enjoy a healthy taste.

7. Eggs

They are a great option for a healthy snack in the evening. An egg contains only 75 calories. It is also rich in proteins that provide a feeling of satiety for a longer period of time.

8. Vegetables

Vegetables are great because most of them have a high glycemic index and prevent hunger the next day. You can prepare carrots and celery sticks or mixed salad in advance.

9. Bananas

Although bananas are high-calorie fruits, they contain high amounts of potassium and magnesium, which helps you to relax your muscles. Potassium relaxes blood vessels, allowing blood to flow more freely and bringing down your blood pressure. Potassium and magnesium are also rich in melatonin and help with insomnia.
